When Leslie owned and operates this garage, I love it. I was their loyal customer for years; because he's very friendly, accommodating, and tried his very best to help and make your life easier. Unfortunately, the new owner/operator, Fred, is the complete opposite! He'll make your life a living hell. I booked a time for WoF, and unfortunately I can't make it. I immediate it rang him, say sorry and tried to organise a new time. He booked me for Thursday, 9a. On Thursday 7.30a, I texted him asking what time will he open. He told me that he opens at 8a, but I'm not booked for that day. We argue a bit, and he 'reluctantly' book me at 2p, and pickup around 4p. I got there slightly past 2p. And he said, why you come so late, I booked you at 1.30p. We argue again, and then said: this is what happen when you miss your initial booking, you know. Just take your car to other place. I was shocked to hear that, and then he confirms what he said that I should just take my car to other place. So, if you want to be treated as a customer, don't like to play games with your mechanics, I strongly suggest that you go find other place. Besides, that's what Fred want you to do anyway. I guess that's why there's only a fraction of cars in there now, compared to when Leslie own/ran this garage.… – show

I have been taking my cars to European Motors for over 15 years and they service that they provide is always above and beyond. This is particularly important as a female as I have been ripped off by other garages in the past. I trust Lindsay and his team implicitly and would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my female friends.

I took my car to this shop several times and always experienced careful, honest, and prompt service. The first time was to have the tires replaced. They also performed several repairs. Roy and his team are top-notch.

EMS has great service. I was in a hurry to travel to Wellington and the EMS crew squeezed me in. They were quick to find the source of my cars problem and repaired it at a great price. They even showed me the problem and explained how they would fix it. Highly recommend this car repair service.

Used Them for a last minute WOF — very helpful and accommodating. Will be using them again in the future. Don't know why others have posted negative feedback as it seems to me they are out to help you drive safely
