    I am usually very picky about restaurants but I can say I was very happy with this one.The meat was excelent, genuine traditional Brazilian bbq which is very similar to the Argentinian bbq (with charcoal). Abundant and generous plate, for one and a half people. They also sell lots of Brazilian food products. I will defenetly go back as the quality is very good and affordable.     Ótimo picanha e macaxeira. Comida gostoso em um bom lugar muito bom para estacionar.
    Great steak and cassava chips. Yummy food and good parking. Well worth it.

    Bom demais esses burguers! Arrasaram nos novos sabores Comemos o de guacamole e o smoked! Tudo incrível! Capricharam no bife e o pão é maravilhoso! Super recomendo!!!

    WOW! One of the most delicious burgers I have ever had! Firstly, we were looked after by an incredible young man Igor (who has recently taken over the cafe). He was so warm and made us enjoy our time so much! The food was amazing, plus we could try a bunch of delicious Brazilian food (and beer of course!). I would recommend this place to everyone!

    We had the tudo burger combo. It was delicious and a good price. It was takeaway but love the vibe of the place. Friendly staff. Check their socials for weekly offers.

    One of the best food in Auckland!!!!! Vegan/vegetarian friendly!!!! They have awesome dishes with chicken, beef, pork prawns. Friendly people quick food turnover and a nice Brazilian environment!!!!

    Rio follows a succession of cafes and clubs that have occupied this spot in Pompallier Centre, Ponsonby. I recall Cafe Liaison with fondness. Di and Robyn had a big group of regulars (one dear old fella used to bus over from Point Chev every day for his flat white & eggs on toast). However the rent went up so Di retired & the new owner tore down the old, tatty, but privacy-positive boxes ivy & ferns.
