Roger Westbury at Beggs is the most outstanding menswear retail manager I have ever had the luxury of being served by (Ive shopped far and wide in places like Auckland, Sydney, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, LA, Berlin, Barcelona and Reykevik).

As I walked in the door after 2 years of lockdown, Roger greeted me by my christian name and then nickname. I'd shopped once a year or so before that. Wow!

The only other person who came close in terms of personal service is my bespoke tailor in Hong Kong of 20 years ago (those were the days).

Beggs is my go to store for awesome, stylish and high quality menswear. Head to toe, formal, business, and all kinds of casual they have an excellent selection with a range of sizes to suit the big bloke.

Nothing is too much trouble. Impeccable taste and assistance without any feeling of sales pressure.

European styles, think cool Nordic on the super yacht… or casual Italian at the F1… these clothes look and feel outstanding from a kiwi BBQ, to a day at the races or the annual work Xmas do (will we be having those again I wonder).

Ive seen first hand the Beggs team help gents of all ages and style preferences. Roger knows his customer and his inventory intimately. At their finger tips are the choices made in prior years, reminding me of what new items might match and suit my existing wardrobe.

These clothes are high quality, wear well and last years. Even the jeans and chinos I pounded at work stood up well. It pays to buy quality.

Now in Newmarket Auckland and online (obviously). This is the iconic Auckland store that was in Pitt St for 85+ years.

Today I met the owner Dave. Consummate professional and industry legend.

Also in store today was David, the classic ex Oxford St gent… easing back on the hours and yet still nailing a jacket/suit sale to the Rugby World Cup officials in today. … – show

Quite honestly it was overpriced so I wound up going to an online Australian store and getting the products for half the price A bit sad really because I was quite happy to go over there and purchase

Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced in a retail store, Roger is super helpful, if I could give this an extra star based on Customer Service alone I would. Will absolutely go back, really good quality and I'm super happy with the purchases I made. Thanks Beggs!!

Had a great experience purchasing here. Not many stores have larger than life clothing and especially formal dresswear. This store has it all, even a clearance line of clean formal dresswear for men. David, one of the two employees was amazing he was very knowledgeable with the clothing and helped with the fitting of different sizes. Highly recommended!

Hubby bought a jacket from here and picked it up about an hour ago. I asked him how his experience with them when he went in to pick up his jacket. He said that the guys that served him really made him feel welcome and they were very attentive. They kept showing him different shirts which he loved. Overall experience with them was amazing. We usually go to Johnny Biggs..but after today it looks like Beggs will be seeing more of us in future. Thank you for making my hubby feel comfortable and tha t your customer service and care was all he talked about. Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A bit pricey..but I'd say..if you want good quality clothing then why not! … – show

I have be going exclusively to Beggs for around 6 years now, they have superb customer service and always take their time with a customer to ensure 100% satisfaction. I must admit being a large gentleman I was not used to such friendly and complete service in regards to my clothing needs. Will be shopping here for many years to come.
